How to get a stuck car out of the snow

In order to get a car unstuck from snow you will need a few things. The things that you need to get your car out of the snow include the following: an ice breaker, a shovel, sand or salt, and car floor mats. You will also need equipment to keep yourself warm. I suggest boots, gloves, a hat, and snow pants, in case you have too get on your knees, or under the car.

The steps to do this are really simple. The good thing about this is that you do not need help, you can achieve this by yourself. The way you have to do this is: use the shovel to get as much snow as you can out from underneath the car, and behind or in front of the tires depending on which direction you will be driving. Once you have all of this done, if there is ice on the ground, use the ice breaker to try and break as much ice as you can. Use the sand or the salt and throw it in front of the tires. Also, use the floor mats of your car if you wish to aid the traction of your tires as you drive out. After you have done all of this, you should be unstuck.

  1. Ok,so if my car is stuck, why would i want more snow in front or behind the tires? that would make it worse.

  3. Never mind i read it wrong, you said to take it out from under the tires, that works when your not stuck to bad. I have had to pull a few people out when this would never had worked.

  5. I try to be a careful driver, but I'm always afraid I might skid off. If that happened, I'm not sure I'd think to use the floor mats, though I've probably heard of that before. Good tips.
